The Close Protection Officer's role is to protect the life of the client, however life also means lifestyle, therefore we offer a bespoke service tailored to your requirements. If necessary, a full security team can be provided giving you an all round security solution anywhere in the world. Alternatively a single security escort will ensure that your shopping trip or business meeting goes to plan. Your requirements will be fully assessed during the Threat Analysis phase of a contract and once the Risk has been assessed a full solution will be provided for you.

This does not mean that our client is cocooned in an impenetrable ring of security but that our client can lead as normal a lifestyle as possible whilst being assured and confident that their own safety is being managed in a discreet, complementary and professional manner. Whether the client is at home or hotel, carrying out normal daily tasks or making a public appearance, their security will evolve constantly in proportion to the threat against them enabling the security officers to control access to the client according to the client's wishes.

All Blue Diamond personnel hold government licenses issued by the Security Industry Authority (SIA). They also have police checks carried out against them and all their referees are contacted by us to ensure that they are of the correct character and have the correct bearing to compliment our clients.

All of our people are fully trained in:

Close Protection Operations - This ensures that they have been trained by a recognised provider and that their skills are the best in the business. Most have been trained by TASK International one of the world leaders in Close Protection Training. All have attended a four week course in Special Security Operations rather than a two or four day course that many in the industry seem to feel is adequate.

Client Protocol - To guarantee that our Close Protection Officers complement their client’s lifestyle and image, whether it is a footballer, pop star, film star or businessman or woman, each Close Protection Officer will be carefully matched to the client.

First Aid - All our officers hold a valid First Aid (First on Scene) certificate. This enables the client to be assured that in any eventuality, accident or illness, competent First Aid assistance is always immediately available. All our vehicles contain First Aid equipment and, if required a Close Protection Officer with Paramedic training can be part of the team.

Conflict Management and Advanced Physical Intervention - At Blue Diamond Security Solutions we consider the threat to be anyone who attempts to have unwanted access to our client and tries to breach our security arrangements. All our officers are trained and experienced so that their response, in any situation, is appropriate to the threat.

A celebrity wanting to go shopping without signing autographs will be protected from autograph hunters in pleasant but firm manner, however, anyone attempting to harm a client will be restrained in proportion to the threat he or she poses and the client removed from the situation immediately. All our officers have training in the law and the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE) to ensure that they operate within the law at all times and will be able to justify their actions and give evidence against a perpetrator if required.
